Very fine early map with the title in a simple cartouche. Bird's eye plans of Hertford and Verulanium each with their own title cartouche and coat of arms. Spirited battle scenes, armorial bearings and a symbolic figure holding aloft an armillary sphere with a globe & mathematical instruments before her. Various engraved notes.
